Paving is a process of applying hot bituminous mix (asphalt) to soil. Generally complete removal and replacement is required. Asphalt cures as it dries, cools, and becomes harder over time. Click here for more information.
Overlay Is the process of resurfacing older pavement by adding a new layer of asphalt over the existing pavement. It’s typically all that needs to be done unless there are more serious foundation base issues that need to be addressed. Click here for more information.
Seal Coating is a process of applying a protective coating over an existing driveway or parking lot. It’s the best way to prevent damage from gas/oil spills, oxidation, and normal wear and tear. Click here for more information.
Crack Filling is the process of filling cracks between ¼” to ½” with either hot rubberized crack filler or cold crack filler. Fixing the cracks should be done without delay as the pavement can become bridle and cause future erosion. Click here for more information.
Chip Seal is a process applied to your driveway or parking lot in which oil and pea gravel are placed separately. Oil and chip has been used for over 100 years to resurface driveways and parking lots. Click here for more information.
Pot holes occur because the parking lot or driveway has not been maintained well. Water gets trapped in the cracks and the base becomes weak. When fixing pot holes the surface is cleaned, then hot asphalt mix is applied and compacted. Click here for more information.
