Crack filling is the process of repairing pavement by filling cracks between ¼” to ½” with either hot rubberized crack filler or cold crack filler. Fixing the cracks should be done without delay as the pavement can become brittle and cause future erosion.

Chip sealing is the process of applying oil and pea gravel to a driveway or parking lot. The oil and gravel are applied separately then compacted together to form a sturdy surface. Oil and chip has been used for over 100 years to resurface driveways and parking lots.

Potholes occur because the parking lot or driveway has not been maintained well. Water gets trapped in the cracks and the base becomes weak. When fixing potholes the surface is cleaned, then hot asphalt mix is applied and compacted.
