For our final blog this month we wanted to look forward to next month! The past 18 months have been difficult to say the least. And while some things aren’t going to be like they used to, many events, activities, and traditions are coming back! Annual Tucson Pride Festival 2021
The Annual Tucson Pride Festival 2021 returns to Reid Park (Reid Park Zoo 3400 E Zoo Ct, Tucson, AZ) October 2nd from 12 – 9PM. More details are yet to come so pay attention to their site here for more info!
Annual Tucson Reptile & Amphibian Show & Sale
The nineteenth Annual Tucson Reptile & Amphibian Show & Sale is occurring October 2 – 3, 2021 at the Tucson Expo Center. Sat: 9:30-5, Sun: 10-4. 60,000 square feet of reptiles for sale and Display. Petting Zoos with Alligators, Giant Tortoises, Monitor Lizards, Snakes. Reptile keeping supplies, Reptile art, books, clothing, anything reptilian. More exotic venomous snakes on display (in very secure locked cages) than the San Diego Zoo. Get your tickets here.
Film Fest Tucson
The sixth edition of Film Fest Tucson is set to take place in downtown Tucson, with screenings at the Scottish Rite Cathedral and the Fox Tucson Theatre as well as the new AC Hotel by Marriott Tucson Downtown in addition to a few outdoor screenings. This unique and homegrown Tucson film festival is made for those passionate about movies. Programming will include short and feature-length narrative and documentary films that have been selected for their quality, timeliness and subject matter.
Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley Oktoberfest
Located at 10300 E Ski Run Rd, Mt Lemmon, AZ, the Mt. Lemmon Ski Valley Oktoberfest is running from September 18th to October 10th, there’s still time to enjoy German beer, authentic Oktoberfest food, live traditional German-style music and dancing on the large outdoor dance floor, children’s games, and beautiful views. Tucson Classics Car Show
The 2021 Car Show is underway! They are optimistic that the vaccine distribution will allow this year’s event to be held at The Gregory School on Saturday, October 16th. But they need help! If you are interested in leading or participating in a specific committee, they ask you to email firstname.lastname@example.org. Hopefully with everyone helping they can get their classic car show roaring again!
West Coast Music Festival
Xzibit, Too Short and more are coming down to Rillito Park Race Track (4502 N 1st Ave, Tucson, AZ) on Saturday October 23rd from 3 – 10pm.
Tucson Expo Gun Show
Hosted by AZGunRadio, the Tucson Expo Gun Show will run Oct. 23rd and 24th at Tucson Expo Center 3750 E Irvington Rd, Tucson, AZ. Admission is $12. They ask that you check with the promoter as COVID is changing the way most things work for them.
The 4th Annual Halloween Bar Crawl
A huge bar crawl is getting started on October 30th! Featuring costume contests, free drinks, drink specials, local food, waived cover, and more! Head over to their facebook event page to find out more info!

They might need volunteers to make them happen, or just an idea of how much those events mean to their community.
